My Fashion Icon

A lot of people say I'm sort of a fashionista. I must agree with this. I have a very good stylist who makes sure all of my clothes are very special. Of course, the main thing piece I have to have in every outfit is the hairbow. Seeing how I was "made in Texas," my philosophy is the bigger the bow, the closer you are to God. Sure, call me silly, but that just means your bow isn't big enough. :)

Anyways, my all time favorite fashionista and style icon is...Harper Beckham. She doesn't have bows as big as me, but she certainly does have a classy style that I hope to copy.

I know how you feel, Harper. Sometimes you just gotta
stick your tongue at the papparazzi. Mine's usually my mom.

Long Week.

Sorry I haven't written in a while. I have had quite the week.

Tuesday morning, my house caught on fire. Luckily, God awoke my daddy from sleeping to catch it before anything or anyone was harmed. I'm currently staying between my Meemaw and Mimi's homes until my daddy finds us another house to move into.

I suppose this would be an opportune time to mention about the protection I have had from God's hand. Before I was born, my mommy carried another baby only for 9 short weeks. She prayed for a long time and very hard for the next baby to be healthy. She prayed specifically for me. She prayed that I would be a girl. She prayed that I would look like her.She prayed that I would be smart and beautiful. She prayed that I would have a sassy attitude. But, most importantly, she prayed that I would be brought into this world to be a light to Jesus. To be a person of character and integrity. To be a great Christian girl. From the first heartbeat, she knew that she was giving birth to someone special. Since the day I was born, I have battled weight issues (being underweight), sickness, and fires. But, God has protected me and made sure that I was safe. My mommy always says that God has a special plan for me, and I know that she and daddy pray for me everyday.

I can't wait to grow up and see what I can do to serve the Lord.

Love,
Lila

“Before I shaped you in the womb,
    I knew all about you.
Before you saw the light of day,
I had holy plans for you:
A prophet to the nations—
that’s what I had in mind for you.”

Fashion is my passion!

Fashion is my middle name. Actually, it's Grace but if I could change it... Anyways, I want to share some of my favorite outfits with you! I have a keen eye for the greats.

If you think my bows are big, you should know that all though I was born in Arkansas, I was made in Texas. That is totally gross to think about. Get this: ALL THINGS ARE BIGGER IN TEXAS! So, I'm naturally made to wear very big bows, dresses, jewelry, and one day, absurdly big hair.

Here are my top 10 favorites:

Tasty Thursday

My newest thing I'm doing is eating rice cereal. My mother has me eating it twice a day, once in a bottle and once with the spoon. I have horrible reflux so my doctor suggested we try the cereal. He also gave the okay for me to eat other solid foods! My momma said that tomorrow she is going to let me try something sweet! That cereal is sort of bland.

The one thing I don't understand about this whole food thing is why my mother insists on being the one that feeds me. I am pretty sure that I have the intellect to write this blog, I surely can hold a spoon.

I'll let you know the deets tomorrow. Also, make sure you read tomorrow for an exclusive on some of my favorite outfits. I'll be clearing out my closet for my fall/winter things soon. This is always a good time to reflect back in the greats of the past four months.

Love,
Lila

What I'm Loving Wednesday

I've been a little sick after my four month shots. I've really enjoyed my momma and daddy catering to my every need.

Here's what I'm loving this week:

💜 the 'rents. They always are on favorites list...except when I don't get my way which is practically never.

💜 my feet. They are just so cute and there. I could stare at them all day long. Especially when they have a fabulous pair of shoes on them.

💜 Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Enough said!

💜 my teething blanket. It crinkles. I can chew on it. And it's awwwwwesome!

What are you loving this Wednesday?

Introducing Myself.

There should be no introduction of who I am, but for the chance that you haven't seen the BAZILLION pictures my mother insists on posting of me on Facebook...this is for you.

I'm Lila. Fabulous four month old going on fourteen. I'm your typical sassy Southern princess. A Daddy's girl. Momma's little doll. Got dreams as big as my hair bows....which are BIG!

My parents are youth pastors, which makes me a PK (pastor's kid). Not your typical bratty PK. Although sometimes I play off brattiness for being cute! I love my church family. They keep telling me when I get this solid food thing down they are going to treat me with candy! I don't even know what that is, but I know my parents sure like to eat it!

I love my family! Especially my grandparents! They always spoil me and make me smile. I don't think I could say my family isn't the best!

I wanted to create this blog as an outlet for my creative side. Plus, sometimes a girl has just got to talk! You may not be able to understand me yet, but I sure will tell you what I'm thinking. I hope you keep reading! I'm squealing with delight just knowing you might!

Well, time to lay down with Gigi the giraffe and snuggle with Daddy. I've got a busy day tomorrow of just being me.

Love,
Lila
